Functional Neurology Cure is a fully registered UK charity, we want to live in a world, where Functional Neurological disorders do not exist. Some of our volunteers have personal experience of the disorder, it is life changing, we have an enormous amount of work to complete. With such a rare disorder the funding and research is not as advanced as we like. We are committed to working ferociously hard to better understand this disorder and stop the misery and suffering that comes with the chronic illness.


Our aim is to work with leading University hospitals across the United Kingdom to start clinical trials to better understand this disorder. Nothing is more important than clinical trials on patients and further research into different potential treatments. This includes for instance the role of Transcranial Magnetic Therapy in the management of the disorder and if this could be of benefit to patients.


We really need your help and support to work as a team, to end the suffering that patients face. We are an extremely efficient charity, keeping our website costs low, working with media companies to gain exposure, by keeping costs low we can fund what is important clinical research. Anything you can donate we would be forever grateful, we know times are hard but anything you can please donate would help us fund vital research.


Our main priority and focus of our charity is research, Functional Neurological Disorder is not very well understood. By better understanding the complex workings of the brain, we may be able to offer better explanations to patients and better treatment. We want to try work with leading neurologists to advance research, working with nurses and a variety of consultants, we want to undertake a variety of clinical trials for Functional Neurological Disorder. Our aim is to end suffering from this disorder and improve quality of life for patients. We need to also continue to work with government to gain further support for our charity, the work we need to undertake is so important.

You may also want to fundraise to help us raise money to hopefully cure this terrible condition in the future. Our primary aim is research and running clinical trials on patients, by better understanding what is going wrong, we will be able to treat patients in a better way. For instance hosting an arts and craft sale, a bake sale, car boot and loose change event to name just a few ways to fundraise.


We are always on the lookout for people to join are charity, this includes people to help us with media interviews to raise awareness of our charity and the work we are doing. Doing videos and publishing these online, helping the charity grow forward and hopefully gain funding for clinical trials and research into Functional Neurological Disorder.
